Katelyn & Scott, The Wedding Photos!

This was a super fun wedding I shot in November with the beautiful and talented Christina Alfonso. These are just highlights, some of my favorite photos to show and give you a sense of the day.

Introducing, Katelyn and Scott.

So, something to know about Katelyn’s planning. This wedding occurred the Saturday immediately following Thanksgiving. Katelyn knew this (obviously, since it’s her wedding). And she planned it very carefully. To be held at a beautiful mansion on the cliff walk in Newport, RI. With an outdoor ceremony. Complete with muffs for the bridesmaids, in lieu of bouquets.

Apparently, Katelyn also made her plans very clear to the weather gods, because this wedding was blessed with 60 degree weather. In November.

Katelyn, you’re crazy, and awesome, and super lucky, and I hope the rest of your marriage is blessed with as much fortune as your wedding day was 🙂

So. The sexy bride, getting ready.

This little fellow is Jack, and he, of course, was the ring bearer. And kind of the life of the party.

I’ve been dying to try this shot for the bridal party. Very Faith +1.

See? Look how amazingly un-freezing this bridal party looks. Though blankets were provided to the guests in case some of them got cold.

I love this shot.

This too. Taken in the beautiful archway of the mansion, right at sundown.

And of course, Katelyn with her baby.

Jumping bridal party. Classic.

And this was the hustle over the bustle. It was quite a project for the bridesmaid.

You have to love a bride that can let loose and make faces on her wedding day.

There are no words for how much fun Katelyn and Steve were. I loved how much fun they had, how much they let loose and just DANCED. If you are a dancing bride, you should definitely email me 🙂

Also a great indicator of a couple – cake toppers. Can you tell what Katelyn and Steve’s favorite pastime is?

Father/daughter dance.

Katelyn’s dad – is in a band. Who graciously took over for the wedding band and played a couple pieces for the bride and groom. So cool!

And a little mid-reception photo fun.

Last surprise of the night – sparklers! Congrats Katelyn and Steve!
