This is Elyn:

And Elyn just turned one!

Her mother, the wonderful, talented, and hilarious Kenda, put together an elaborately beautiful first birthday party for her, complete with a color theme (pink and blue), photobooth (with props!), and lots of homemade sweets.

This little pink dress was made by Kenda’s great aunt 54 years ago for her daughter on her first birthday, and it has been worn by all the girls in her family on their first birthday since then.

So what do we do? We cover it in cake!

Sharing some with mommy, of course.

And with dad.

And of course, some photobooth fun! Kenda painted the fence and made all the props herself.
