As I was fixing my new blog, it occurred to me that I had never posted these wedding photos! This is the beautiful Berkshire wedding of Marybeth and Andrew Unsworth. I adored this wedding. Not only was it beautiful, it was hilarious. The whole wedding party – no, not even that, the whole guest list – were like 80s style rockers.  I didn’t even know until reception, when they broke out with endless air guitaring. Amazing.

Also – funny story that I didn’t find out until my second meeting with Marybeth and Andrew. When we met to discuss the wedding timeline, Andrew disclosed to me that Marybeth had been fully prepared to continue interviewing photographers until their first meeting with me. Now, that sounds like ego-stroking, but the reason they ended their search was what I loved. Andrew said, “All Marybeth wanted was a photographer that she knew would get down on the ground if she had to in order to get THE shot. And you showed up right from work and apologized for the holes in the knees of your pants from being on the ground photographing all day at work, and Marybeth told me after, ‘She’s the one!'”

So, thank you 100 times over, Marybeth, 1) for forgiving me my disheveled look upon our first meeting, and 2) giving me that story to tell my mom, since she’s always giving me a hard time about my torn pants.
